About Diana Paddock, MS, PA-C
Diana Paddock, MS, is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) who treats people of all ages in urgent care and emergency department settings. In this capacity, she provides patient-centered experiences to a wide-range of populations by evaluating patient needs, identifying diagnoses, formulating treatment plans, and using evidence-based medicine to provide the most optimal encounters.
Paddock performs various procedures including fracture reductions, interpretation of imaging and lab studies, joint injections and aspirations, and wound care management.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, she was a family medicine physician assistant at North County Health Services in San Marcos, Calif. and an emergency medicine physician assistant at Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, Calif.
She volunteers with Flying Samaritans, an organization whose mission is to provide free medical services to the medically under-served communities in Tijuana, Mexico.
Paddock earned her master of physician assistant studies degree at Touro University Nevada in Henderson, Nev. and her bachelor's degree in biological sciences at UC San Diego.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the San Diego Society of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work she enjoys travel, painting and running. Paddock speaks Spanish fluently.
