About Tracy Harrison, MD, FACOG
Tracy Harrison, MD, is a board-certified physician who specializes in reproductive endocrinology, infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), amenorrhea (the absence of menstruation) and fertility care for transgender men. Dr. Harrison's ultimate objective is to help her patients achieve their fertility goals.
As an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, & Reproductive Sciences, she is involved in training the next generation of reproductive endocrinologists at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Harrison leads research efforts to improve the understanding of ovarian function in altered hormonal states. She has published on the topics of PCOS, management of fibroids, assisted reproductive technology and contraception.
Dr. Harrison is the recipient of a National Institute of Child Health and Human Development Career Development Award and the Society of Reproductive Investigation Early Career Investigator Award.
She is a member of several professional societies including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Harrison completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and fertility at UC San Diego School of Medicine and her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UCLA School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Harrison is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
In her free time, she enjoys musical theater, college football, international cuisine and spending time outdoors with her husband and French Bulldog. She speaks Spanish fluently.
