Oana Pickering, PA

Oana Pickering, PA, is a certified physician assistant providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.  

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.  

As a physician assistant, Ms. Pickering provides primary and urgent care to people of all ages. She is passionate about forming a trusting relationship with her patients and making sure that they play an active role in their treatment plan. Ms. Pickering enjoys offering high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in the primary care setting.

Ms. Pickering earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and her bachelor's degrees in biology and religious studies from the University of Pittsburg. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and fluent in Romanian.

In her free time, Ms. Pickering enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and son. She also likes hiking, cooking, traveling and exploring the diverse food scene San Diego has to offer.
