About Nermeen Akladeos, MD

Nermeen Akladeos, MD, is a board-certified physician providing primary care through the Rancho Family Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network. 

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region. 

As a primary care physician, Dr. Akladeos provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries for people of all ages. She chose to study medicine because she saw the impact in her early life and now she is the one who gets to make a difference and help her community. After studying in Egypt and Kenya, she values preventive medicine and believes it is the most effective and efficient way to approach medicine. Dr. Akladeos is also passionate about weight loss and women's health.

Dr. Akladeos completed her residency in family medicine at UHS Southern California Medical Education Consortium at Temecula Valley Hospital and earned her medical degree at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. She is board certified in family medicine. 

Outside of work, Dr. Akladeos enjoys spending time with her two boys, who are involved in Boy Scouts activities, as they participate in community service, hiking and camping.
