About Sadaf Farasat, MD
Sadaf Farasat, MD, is a board-certified physician providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Farasat provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries for people of all ages. She has a special interest in caring for senior patients.

Dr. Farasat completed her fellowship in geriatric medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine and her residency in internal medicine at Griffin Hospital – Yale University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree at Aga Khan University Medical College in Pakistan and her master's degree in public health from Yale University. She is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Farasat enjoys running and hiking in sunny San Diego. In addition to English, she is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
