About Julie Heuring, NP

Julie Heuring, NP, is a certified family nurse practitioner providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a family nurse practitioner, Ms. Heuring takes care of the primary care needs of people of all ages and has experience in acute, primary and urgent care. Growing up as an athlete, she incorporates the combination of Western and holistic medicine to promote the health and wellbeing of all patients.

Ms. Heuring earned her master's degree and bachelor's in nursing from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif. She also has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from California State University, San Marcos. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

In her free time, Ms. Heuring enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, practicing jujutsu and going to the beach. She is a dog mom to her French bulldog, Stevie Rae, and a Dodgers fan.
