Helen Stearns, DNP

Helen Stearns, DNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner providing primary care at Rawi Medical, PC. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.  

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.  

As a family nurse practitioner, Ms. Stearns takes care of the primary care needs of people of all ages. She is passionate about primary, preventive care and internal medicine. Ms. Stearns is a patient advocate who demonstrates competence, compassion, patience and adaptability in the clinical setting. She develops strong rapport with her team and patients to utilize the highest standards of evidence-based practices.

Ms. Stearns completed her doctor of nursing practice degree specializing in family practice at the University of San Diego and earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  

In her free time, Ms. Stearns enjoys photography, writing, exploring the world, discovering new restaurants, spending time with her friends and family, and getting outside.
