Melissa Hamilton, DNP

Melissa Hamilton, DNP, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner providing primary care at Rancho Family Medical Group. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network. 

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region. 

As a nurse practitioner, Ms. Hamilton takes care of the primary care needs of people of all ages. She focuses on delivering positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously building productive relationships. Ms. Hamilton prides herself on her outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, her ability to manage competing priorities, as well as maintaining accurate and efficient documentation.

Ms. Hamilton completed her doctor of nursing practice degree specializing in pediatrics at Loma Linda University and earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. 

In her free time, Ms. Hamilton enjoys camping, wakeboarding, horseback riding, high-intensity internal training (HIIT) classes, baking, nutrition and fitness.
