Laura Crites, PA

Laura Crites, PA, is a certified physician assistant providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a physician assistant, Ms. Crites provides primary and urgent care to people of all ages. She loves family medicine for the variety it offers and the relationships she is able to form with patients. Ms. Crites is passionate about patient education and inclusive care, and will always take her time to have open conversations with her patients to ensure they leave feeling empowered. She has a special interest in preventive care, gynecology, pediatric and adolescent care and LGBTQ+ health.

Ms. Crites earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Chapman University and her bachelor's degree in genetics and biology with a minor in nutrition science from University of Georgia. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Outside of work, Ms. Crites enjoys being active, camping and adventuring with friends and family as much as possible.
