About Brittany Polizzi, NP

Brittany Polizzi, NP, is a certified family nurse practitioner providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a family nurse practitioner, Ms. Polizzi takes care of the primary care needs of people of all ages. She has experience working as a clinical research nurse for the Yale Cancer Center, assisting in clinical trials for new and emerging therapies for malignant melanoma. Ms. Polizzi also was a nurse practitioner in plastic surgery and dermatology. She believes the most important part of any visit is a full understanding of each patient's desire and health outlook.

Ms. Polizzi earned her Master of Science in nursing from Yale University School of Nursing and her bachelor's degree in toxicology from St. John's University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
