As a primary care physician with an expertise in sports medicine, Dr. Dengerink provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries for people of all ages. He has an emphasis on the treatment of athletic injuries, making use of musculoskeletal ultrasound, as well as platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections.

Dr. Dengerink is a team physician for San Diego State University Athletics and the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Dr. Dengerink earned his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, in Pomona, California. He completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, and his fellowship training at San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center.
